Yellow ribbon is a not-for-profit organization that helps kids recover from suicidal ideas. The article on their website http://www.yellowribbon.org/Legacy.html tells the story of how the foundation began. The website explains what their foundation does.I found an article on this website written about how the program got started. It is about a caring kid and how he didn’t know a way to get help which resulted in his committing suicide. The article doesn’t say who it is written by, but the website is by © 1995-2011 Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program®. It seems to be a reliable source because it is written by a foundation looking to help teens ask for advice when they are in despair. The website is written to persuade you to use the yellow ribbon organization when help is needed. The article is written to inform, but it talks about how the foundation got started not about the suicide. It is written in cause and effect form about how a family turned their son’s suicide into an organization for teens to ask for help. It also explains how the organization quickly spread to aid other teens in need. The story doesn’t give many details on the suicide, how it happened, or what caused it. It explains how the community was affected after the suicide, and how the friends of the boy were able to make a difference. The article is a good source to go to if you would like to know more about an organization for teens looking for help and not teen suicide.

After a Suicide: Answering Questions from Students
The author of the article, “After a Suicide: Answering Questions from Students” has very reliable information. Dr. Scott Poland is a Director of Psychological Services at a school in Houston Texas and he is a member of the National Emergency Assistance Team. It appears Dr. Poland has done research and work on the topic of teen suicide. I would conclude he is a scholarly source. The article is written to give advice to a teacher after a suicide at their school. It addresses the questions students may have, and how to answer in a positive way. This source also explains how a teacher should act and direct students in a way that enforces the prevention of another suicide. This article is written to inform. The beginning is written in a problem solution format. The problem is the suicide and the student’s perspective on it and the solution is how the teacher can calm students and prevent another one. The second part of the article is written in a question answer format. It shows questions students may ask about the suicide, and an appropriate response that isn’t an invasion of the suicide family’s privacy or that is promoting the idea. There are a few statistics but the article doesn’t say where they came from. At the end of the article is suggests other cites for the reader to learn more about teen suicide. This article about teen suicide is a dependable source of information.

Ryan's Story Informs Parents About Bullying, Teen Suicide
In the article Ryan's Story Informs Parents About Bullying, Teen Suicide John Halligan gave a presentation about teen suicide to Glen Rock students grades 6-10 and one that night to parents of the students. He is an expert on this topic because his 13 year old son committed suicide. This caring father has made multiple bulling prevention laws in the state of Vermont. They involve parents being more apparent in children’s life and schools taking charge. This article doesn’t show slant or biased but it’s mainly written from a parent’s perspective. It does include a little of the perspective from kids though. Mr. Halligan explains how his child killed himself, and the online and in person bulling involved. He also shares with the author of this article something a student told him, "You know, Mr. Halligan, I would actually prefer to get punched out than have someone spread a rumor about me, because I can go to the adults and show them a black eye and get a response, but it's impossible for me to show them my bruised heart." This article is informational and is written in a problem solution format. It shows the problems of bulling and the solution of suicide. With the problem of suicide it shows the fathers solution to make a difference. This article is a good source of information about bullying. It is from the North Jersey paper, and the author is a journalist. The information is from John Halligan who knows from the experiences of his son what teen suicide is like. This source of information about bullying and teen suicide is a reliable article to read.
